Watch IPTV on a Windows PC
A Windows PC or laptop makes a capable IPTV screen: use the free VLC media player with your playlist link, or a dedicated IPTV player app for a full guide experience.

How it works
Choose your player
The free, open-source VLC media player handles M3U playlists well and is a solid start. For a TV-style interface with a programme guide, install a dedicated IPTV player from the Microsoft Store or one your provider recommends.
VLC route: open your playlist
Download VLC from the official videolan.org site and install it. Open Media, then Open Network Stream, paste your M3U link, and press Play. The first load can take a moment while the playlist downloads.
VLC route: browse channels in the playlist view
Press Ctrl+L (View, Playlist) to see the full channel list, and double-click any channel to switch. Use the search box in the playlist view to find channels quickly.
Dedicated player route: sign in
Open your IPTV player app and enter the server URL, username and password (Xtream style), or add your M3U link — exactly as your provider sent them.
Add the programme guide
If your provider supplied a separate EPG URL, enter it in the player's guide settings so programme names and times appear next to channels. VLC itself does not display a TV-style guide.
Keep things updated
Update the player and your graphics drivers occasionally; video decoding fixes arrive regularly and cure many playback oddities.
Frequently asked questions
Playlist will not open in VLC: verify the link by pasting it into a browser — if nothing downloads, the link or subscription is the issue.
Video plays but stutters: in VLC preferences, try adjusting the network caching value upward, and close bandwidth-heavy applications running in the background.
No sound or black video on some channels: update VLC or your dedicated player to the latest version and update graphics drivers.
Guide is empty in a dedicated player: confirm the EPG URL is set and trigger a manual guide refresh in the player settings.
