Frequently asked questions

Straight answers about plans, setup, billing, and technical issues.

General

TREX IPTV is a subscription service that streams live television channels, movies and series over the internet to supported devices such as Android, Android TV, Fire TV, Windows and Smart TVs. You choose a plan, pay online, and once your subscription is activated you can sign in and start watching.

You can use TREX IPTV anywhere you have a stable internet connection, including while travelling. Streaming quality depends on the speed and stability of the network you are connected to.

No satellite dish or receiver is required. All you need is a supported device (a phone, TV box, Smart TV or computer) and a stable internet connection. See our Devices page for the full list.

Channels and titles are streamed in the quality their source provides, which includes HD and 4K where available. The quality you actually see also depends on your internet speed and your device.

Setup

TREX IPTV works on Android phones and tablets, Android TV and Google TV devices, Amazon Fire TV, Windows PCs, Apple Mac computers, and Samsung and LG Smart TVs. Most devices that can run a standard IPTV player supporting M3U playlists will work too.

You can use any standard IPTV player app that supports M3U playlists or portal logins. Our installation guides walk you through setting up common players on each device type, step by step.

After your payment is confirmed and your subscription is activated, your service details appear in your account dashboard on our website, and we also notify you by email. Keep these details private and do not share them.

As a general guide, around 10 Mbps is comfortable for HD streaming and 25 Mbps or more for 4K. A wired connection, or Wi-Fi on the 5 GHz band close to the router, gives the most stable experience.

Billing

Payments are made online through our secure payment partner. We never see or store your full card details on our servers; we only receive a confirmation of the payment and a transaction reference.

Your subscription starts when it is activated after your payment is confirmed. The exact start and end dates are always visible in your account dashboard.

No. We do not charge your payment method automatically. Before your plan ends we remind you by email, and you can renew from your account whenever you choose.

If a technical problem on our side prevents you from using the service and our support team cannot resolve it, you can request a refund within 7 days of your first activation. The full details are in our Refund Policy page.

Technical

First test your internet speed, then restart your router and the player app. Try a wired connection or 5 GHz Wi-Fi, close other apps that use bandwidth, and lower the stream quality if needed. If buffering continues, contact support and we will investigate with you.

Not every channel publishes program guide data, so a few channels may show no EPG. If the guide is missing on channels that normally have it, refresh or re-download the EPG data from your player settings.

Yes, you can use a VPN. Keep in mind that a VPN adds an extra hop, which can reduce speed; choosing a nearby, fast VPN server usually keeps streaming smooth.

Check our Status page first to see whether there is a known issue. If everything looks operational, contact support and tell us the channel names and the device you are using — that helps us fix the problem faster.
